Deputy Student Turnout Projects Director for Digital + Creative Strategy
The Opportunity
In just under two years, the Youth Team @ Strategic Victory Fund has incubated and scaled programming reaching young voters that has:
- Had an in-person footprint on over 150 campuses in battleground states
- Hired and trained nearly 200 full-time staffers and 1,800 part-time student staffers
- Developed over 100 student-focused social media accounts
- Reached nearly 6 million voters online, over 300 million times
The Student Turnout Projects is our flagship operation – a cohort of state-based organizations working to organize college campuses with scrappiness and creativity.
In 2026, STP teams will conduct digital programming around four core tactics:
- Organic media: Each of our programs will work to develop larger audiences and engagement on their organization’s statewide accounts, campus-specific accounts, and unbranded meme accounts.
- Paid media: Each of our programs will develop paid media programs to persuade and mobilize target audiences.
- Student content creators: Each of our programs will develop a cohort of student content creators and social media managers and work with them to foster their skills.
- Digital direct voter contact: Texting, DMs, email, and more
You’ll work across all of these categories and serve as an advisor to STP State Directors across multiple battlegrounds with a goal in mind of providing opportunities for growth to the staff and student leadership in each state. It’s critical that the person who takes on this role understands that our digital efforts go hand in hand with our on-campus in-person work, and the two programs should work seamlessly together.
